Low Viscosity Synthetic Multi-Vehicle Automatic Transmission Fluid

Today, the automatic transmission fluid market is very complicated. It was not that many years ago that it was hard to go wrong either changing your ATF or topping it off. The chances were, that your vehicle’s owner’s manual specified either General Motor’s Dexron or Ford’s Mercon ATF and most transmission fluids on the shelf of your local auto parts store met both specifications. Today, there are literally dozens of specifications and OEM recommendations, leaving drivers confused about what to use, which is why Lucas Oil developed Multi-Vehicle ATF, to simplify the process.

Most modern transmission fluids have a few things in common: better heat and oxidation resistance, better shear stability so that the fluid doesn’t lose viscosity over time, and a lower coefficient of friction needed for locking torque converters on modern cars. Lucas Multi-Vehicle ATF satisfies all these requirements; however, many cars and pickup trucks now use ATF that has a lower viscosity than traditional fluid, complicating the picture again. Lower viscosity fluids generally provide marginally better fuel economy. For this reason, we now have two multi-vehicle fluids. One standard (or high-viscosity), the other for vehicles that specify the use of low viscosity ATF.

Lucas Oil Low Viscosity Multi-Vehicle ATF is blended from premium API Group III synthetic base oils, combined with shear-stable viscosity modifiers and a high-quality additive package that includes anti-wear, anti-oxidants and corrosion inhibitors.

Primary Application

Recommended by Lucas Oil for any automatic transmission application where the vehicle owner’s manual specifies a low viscosity fluid, either foreign or domestic, such as: Dexron VI, Mercon LV (& SP), Honda DW-1, Nissan Matic S (and W), Mitsubishi Dia Queen ATF J-3 and ATF-PA and many more*. Drive with confidence knowing that Lucas Low-Viscosity Multi-Vehicle ATF is suitable for use in your car or truck.

It helped my 2003 Mazda MPV van perform better.

Came to your site and found out about Complete Engine Treatment, so I got some of that too!! It helped my 2003 Mazda MPV van perform better. Thanks much.

In 2 days my steering is back to normal. Honest.

My '06 Ford Freestar was gradually getting harder to steer. No leaks and a tight belt so no slipping. I emptied as much fluid as I could and added a bottle of Lucas Power Steering Fluid and Conditioner which the bottle says eliminates hard spots.. in 2 days my steering is back to normal. Honest. It worked for me and its been 3 wks now. A garage near me gave me a price of $569.00 for a new rack installed. I lucked out. For $10.00 a bottle it was worth a try. I'm very happy.

I added this to the gas and was amazed… it stopped making the sound that I thought was a rod bearing.

My truck engine has over 200,000 miles and a knock started and I thought it was a rod bearing. I was reading the label on the product Complete Engine Treatment and the words, (stops engine knocks.) I added this to the gas and was amazed, and still am, it stopped making the sound that I thought was a rod bearing. I do have to add the treatment to each fill up, but it does work.

Lucas is SERIOUS about what they sell.

After checking my Power Steering Fluid on my Kia Spectra, I noticed the level was low. Bought the Kia new and its now 4 years old. I decided to drain the rest of the power steering fluid and replace with Lucas Power Steering Fluid purchased at Auto Zone. What a noticeable difference in steering! Price was a few dollars higher and I would spend a few more knowing Lucas is SERIOUS about what they sell. 100% would recommend Lucas Power Steering Fluid.

Lucas hi-mileage stabilizer IMMEDIATELY quieted engine

2003 F150 5.4L Triton 3-valve. Timing chain, guides and cover had disintegrated at about 280,000 and constant oil leakage. Put new chain, guides, oil strainer, pick-up tube etc and drove to 345,000 using 20w50 and losing about 2 quarts a month. Noisy upon start-up which I understand is typical for these Tritons plus lifters made constant noise. Was about to install a new/used motor when I figured what the heck try a bottle of Lucas hi-mileage stabilizer. IMMEDIATELY quieted engine and after adding another bottle a week later, engine is running QUIETLY!!! leaks less too. Have installed new coil packs and I think this 5.4 might just make it to 500,000!! I also added 1qt to the tranny...shifts smoother.
